Butterfly Release and Earth Day

CMIT Scholars had the rare pleasure of observing the butterfly life cycle up close through the use of butterfly kits. This amazing metamorphosis lasted about 3 weeks. From baby caterpillars we watched them grow, transform to chrysalides, and finally into beautiful butterflies.

On Monday, April 30th CMIT celebrated Earth Day planting flowers and other plantlife surrounding them with the love and spirit of one of a kind hand painted rocks decorated by our very own scholars!  To conclude the Earth Day celebration the butterflies were released to pollinate our world!
